The book measures 14cm x 21cm.
Pre owned with some clear signs of age/use. Rebound in brown/tan calf boards. Five raised bands on spine, gilt title. Noticeably scuffed, marks, and indents across majority of the boards. Faint circular embossed image of a stag on front board. Boards are firm, holding well with strong hinges. Marbled end pages could be salvaged original, some wear and creasing. Previous owner nameplate glued inside cover, Lanner House, Gwennap. A couple of new end pages front and rear, gutter repair to the full length of the title page, holding well.
Text block in good condition. Yellow toning throughout, foxing of the title page in particular, and mildly throughout. Overall text block is firm and holding well, with no loose/missing pages. Some page edges jut out slightly. No ink inscriptions or notes.
Overall remains in good reading condition, a scarce first edition. The rebind is basic, roughly done, however solid overall, with as described clear signs of age, use and wear.
