The book measures 4.5cm x 5.5cm, 2.5cm thick.

CONDITION:

Please view all listing photographs for the best understanding of condition. There are clear signs of age, use and wear. The maroon leather binding is rubbed and lightly marked. Gilt title on spine, bright but a little faded. A couple of small stains cover the gilt. Front silver panel fixed firmly to front board. Some grey tarnishing/patina. Hallmarks beneath cauldron faint and rubbed. Outer edge a little dented. Joints holding well, no splitting. Page edges red under gold gilt, faded and rubbed gilt. Marbled end papers and paste downs discoloured and foxed. Small ink number scribbled inside top corner of front board. First end page, half title page, and title page have slight torn loss along top edge. Doesn't affect text, just upper and side margins. Hinge cracked at title page but holding firm. Text block generally age toned throughout, mild foxing in parts. Light creasing, corner folds from handling the thin paper throughout. 

Overall remains in acceptable reading condition with clear signs of age and use. A rare miniature cook book, considered the most extensive cookery book in miniature. A delightful silver cover design combined with the miniature size makes for a special collectible book for cookery lovers, miniature book lovers, or antiquarian book collectors!
