The book has been rebound in dark brown leather, black gilt title label on spine, gilt lined bands, replaced paste downs/flyleaf. Unusual gilt gauffered page edges, appears to be floral, rather amateur looking with faint remnants of colour added. Possibly original, certainly not added during the rebind. Full page ink notes written in Latin by original owner on verso of title page.

CONDITION:

No indication of when the book was rebound. The cover has a few light scratches, spine noticeably sunned. Binding is solid, good firm joints with no splitting. Paste downs/flyleaf good, no hinge splits. Lovely engraved title page. Text block age toned throughout, light foxing, light staining in parts. Text all legible and complete. A couple of small chips/loss of the fore edge margin, not affecting text. No further inscriptions or notes following the full page of notes on the verso of title page. Gilt page edges dulled and scratched with age. 

Overall the book remains in good reading condition, nicely rebound. We can't offer much more information on the contents as its in Latin, Google has been the source of our research, we have been as accurate as we are able.
