CONDITION:
Please view all listing photographs for the best understanding of condition. There are clear signs of age, use and wear. The red leather binding has general fading, scuffs, marks and discolouration. Boards edges and corners a little rubbed. Gilt line runs along edge of all sides of the boards, gilt stamped title on spine. Five raised bands, bottom band has a noticeable surface chip/loss. Joints/hinges holding firm, no splitting. Inside boards have gilt decorated turn-ins, with rear board gilt stamped 'Bumpus Ltd Oxford S1 W' along bottom edge. The leather turn-ins have discoloured the opposite end papers all around the outer edge. Faint erased pencil writing on front first end page. Text block a little age toned throughout, but generally clean and bright. Slight foxing dotted about, but nothing significant. All page edges gilt, dulled and scratched a little in places. Two red cord threaded page markers in good condition, a little frayed at the ends.
Overall the book is in good reading condition. A little bit worn, the cover in particular, but a pleasant little book nonetheless.
