Novum Testamentum Græcum,
With,
The Polymicrian Greek Lexicon to the New Testament, in Greek and English.
And,
Cruden’s Concordance to The New Testament, wherein not one word or text is omitted of the larger editions; and now, for the first time, the two alphabets are blended into one.
Printed 1833, for Samuel Bagster, London. Date is printed on Cruden’s Concordance title page.
A small book, measuring just 8cm x 10.5cm, 4cm thick.
Please look at all the photos for the best understanding of the condition and contents.
There are some noticeable signs of age, use and wear. The leather hard cover is significantly faded and shelf worn, some surface wear of the edges and general surface, though still bound tight. See photos for best descriptions. Both boards and spine holding strong.
There is some occasional age/use related page discolouration/creasing dotted throughout, brown spotting/foxing etc typical with age. Overall contents binding appears strong, tight and complete.
The first end paper and half title page have some outer margin tearing, with some loss. There are previous owner margin notes, text underlining, red pen highlighting etc dotted throughout, mostly affecting the first section. Previous owner ink inscriptions on the ffep and on the page before the Lexicon.
The page edges are gold gilded, though noticeably faded and dulled, some scratching and discolouration from being thumbed through.
Overall remains in good reading condition considering its age. A rare and collectible piece, unusual in size and contents, the Lexicon and Cruden’s Concordance scarcely found together with the Greek New Testament.
With as described clear signs of age, use and wear, typical with age and use.
Your purchase will be packaged with extreme care, and delivery will be by tracked, insured and signed for service.
